The other cases
Sunday 4 December Ana Lila, from 20 years old, was stabbed to death in an alleged marital dispute , she was five months pregnant. She and her baby died at the hospital. This event occurred in Querétaro.
That same day the body of Martha Aurora, who was eight months pregnant and was reported missing along with her friend Claudia Lizbeth, after they took a taxi from application.
At first it was said that the baby she was expecting had been stolen, then the Nuevo León Prosecutor’s Office said that this was not the case and that the fetus was still in the womb of its mother, who died of asphyxiation due to suffocation.
A common problem
Yes Well, in the cases of Ana Lilia and Martha Aurora, the motive for the crime was not stealing their babies, but the fact that they did not respect their lives, knowing that they were hurting the whole of society. But the case of Rosa Isela is not something new, since it has happened several times.
In this regard, the National Citizen Observatory on Femicide (OCNF) denounces that in the last four years have recorded 20 murders of pregnant women, as revealed by the site Political Animal.
In addition, it adds that the cases show a mode of operation of criminal networks, but that the authorities refuse to carry out the corresponding investigations.
As for the thefts of unborn babies, in several of the cases they have been people who wanted to have a baby, for which they hooked their victims offering them clothes or some product for when they were born. That way they took them to their homes and once there they murdered them, but not before removing the fetus.
