HOUSTON – A woman has been charged with intentionally crashing into her husband’s vehicle while he was waiting for a red light to change on a Pasadena street, according to court documents.

The alleged reason why the woman collided with her partner’s vehicle was because she had realized that another woman was traveling with him. Pasadena is located 15 miles east of downtown Houston.

Vernesha LaShay Gold-Hubbs, 15 is facing charges of aggravated assault of a family member.

The incident allegedly occurred on November 5th.

According to the Pasadena Police report, Hubb and her husband are currently separated.

Investigators were informed by the husband that on the day that the incident occurred, he and his new girlfriend went out to eat at a restaurant in the Pasadena area and that as they were leaving his wife was entering the place.

The man asked his wife if she was chasing them, but she ignored him.

The husband and his girlfriend got into a vehicle and drove away from the establishment, and while they were waiting for a traffic light they were hit from behind, causing the airbags to activate.

The wife then went back on top of the vehicle and hit it a second time. After the second impact, the wife got out of her vehicle and took a photo of her husband and the woman who was traveling with him before driving away from the scene.

The husband told investigators that his wife has a GPS device installed in the vehicle he drives to locate him.

The husband was taken to the hospital to be treated for head and neck injuries. The girlfriend was also treated for minor injuries.

Investigators located Hubbs, and she admitted that she intentionally crashed the vehicle carrying her husband and girlfriend.
