After six days of searching in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, municipal and state authorities have not been able to find the whereabouts of Corey Allen, a US citizen who disappeared after kayaking with his wife.
Alan Ontiveros, spokesman for the Sonora Civil Protection, considered the chances of finding Corey alive null , then finding the two kayaks used by the couple adrift on the high seas.

The couple were residents of Flagstaff , Arizona, and took advantage of the Thanksgiving holidays to travel to Puerto Peñasco , but disappeared on 24 November around 12: 00 hours , according to the Go Fund Me campaign platform, which requested funds to help in the search.
