The Tampa Police issued an arrest warrant on Thursday for assault in a domestic incident against Antonio Brown, former player of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and waits outside his residence to arrest him.
The 550 year-old catcher, who is a free agent, threw a shoe at his head of the woman who managed to hit her on the back of her head and then left her outside the residence located in south Tampa.
Police explained that after the incident Brown posted an informal eviction notice on the door directed at the woman who was in the garden with the children. Brown has refused to leave the residence, police added.
Police in Tampa, Florida, issued a warrant for Antonio Brown’s arrest on one count of assault occurred on 28 November, reported the ESPN network. On 28 November a judge denied a petition for protection against risk that prevents Brown from possessing firearms or ammunition if he is considered a danger to society or for himself.
This is not the first time that the former NFL player has had problems with the authorities. In 2020, Brown had to pay $1.2 million dollars to a moving truck driver in Broward County after being arrested for assaulting the driver.
