Armed command kidnapped the former mayor of Guanajuato and they fear the worst

Graciela Pérez Negrete , former president of the municipality of San Diego de la Unión, Guanajuato, was “raised” by a group of armed men last Wednesday, without her whereabouts being known until now.

According to local media, the former official was in her construction business when a commando aboard a white van arrived at the scene to address the victim directly.

The armed men threatened the employees and forcibly removed Pérez Negrete, who is married to Luis Gaudencio González, who also held the position of municipal president 2009 a 2009.

This fear becomes more evident, if one considers that the state of Guanajuato has suffered the assassination of 5 former mayors from different political parties in the current period of government .
