In early September, Jarrett Hobbs was arrested in Georgia on charges of possession of an illegal drug, speeding and driving with a license revoked or expired.
Because of this, the subject of 15 years was transferred to Camden County Jail, where he was brutally beaten by five guards.
Everything indicates that, by refusing to stay still in his cell and after repeatedly kicking the door of it, Hobbs received an unusual and unjustified punishment.
Thanks to the recording of a video, the detainee is observed standing alone in his cell where he picks up what appears to be a sheet of paper and a sandwich.
Immediately afterwards, a guard enters and grabs him by the neck to try to corner him while four others of his companions join the cell to repeatedly hit and kick him.
Subsequently, when the incident was leaked to the press, Sheriff Jim Proctor ordered an investigation to be launched.
