Manchester United spoke out this Monday with a short statement in which they assure that they will take note and wait for all the facts to be established after the first part of Cristiano Ronaldo’s interview last Sunday in which he lashes out hard against the club and the coach Erik Ten Hag.

“Manchester United take note of the media coverage of an interview with Cristiano Ronaldo. The club will consider its response once all the facts have been established”, indicated the first part of the statement.

The English club stated that the Priority continues to be the second part of the campaign and he confirmed his confidence in the Dutch strategist. “Our focus continues to be preparing for the second half of the season and continuing the momentum, belief and unity that is being built between the players, the coach, the staff and the fans.”

“The club will consider its response once all the facts have been established,” concluded the letter from the Reds Devils this Monday.

The institution waits for the entire interview to be revealed in order to act accordingly . However, the English media already assure that the club is preparing a fine of more than one million euros. Even the tabloid The Telegraph reported that Erik Ten Hag would be the main promoter of this sanction.

In the first part of the dialogue with journalist Piers Morgan from The Sun, Cristiano lashed out at the coach and the team for not having empathy when he lost his son in the middle of this year. He also stated that he felt betrayed and despised by the club

Manchester United and Erik Ten Hag’s relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo is totally broken. The Portuguese striker has hardly been taken into account by the Dutch coach who has relegated him to the bench this season. This would be the second episode of conflict between the Portuguese star and the Red Devils after he was penalized weeks ago for refusing to warm up and withdraw early in the game against Tottenham.
