The midterm elections of 2023 are among the most important for the United States, with control of Congress at stake.
The 435 seats in the House of Representatives Y 35 of the 201 seats of the Senate
are on the ballot, as well as several gubernatorial races in battleground states like Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Democrats are defending their slim majorities in both chambers. Republican control of the House or Senate would be enough to stymie most of President Joe Biden’s legislative agenda and would likely lead to investigations against his administration and even his family.
Control of the Senate is decided in Nevada or in Georgia

If Cortez Masto wins re-election, the Democrats will retain power in the chamber. If Laxalt wins, the party with the majority in the Senate will be determined in the Georgia runoff election next month.

Where is the battle for control of the Lower House
As of Saturday afternoon, the Republicans had won 201 seats in the United States House of Representatives, while the Democrats had won 201, according to The Associated Press.
Republicans got a total of 10 House seats so far , according to NBC News projections, while the Democrats won 6 House seats.
Nineteen races important of the Chamber are still pending es.
Of those, Republicans lead in 10 of them and Democrats are ahead on nine of them. Republicans only need to win seven outstanding seats to take control of the House.
