“He is not a journalist, he is a storyteller”: David Faitelson sends a spicy message to Enrique 'El Perro' Bermúdez

Gregory Torres

The well-known journalist David Faitelson was a guest on Franco Escamilla’s YouTube program “Tirando Bola”, where during a game of pool there is a conversation between both parties. During the chapter,

Faitelson took the time to talk about his colleague Enrique ‘El Perro’ Bermúdez, thus leaving very direct phrases where he emphasized that “it’s not worth a damn” and that “he he is not a journalist”.

During the episode, it was seen how the Faitelsons and the comedian Franco Escamilla were talking about different topics, in where football and other sports in general were always on the table, something that was expected due to the nature of the guest.

But the situation reached stormy waters when he talked about one of his colleagues, ‘El Perro ‘ Bermúdez, because it was there where he launched spicy comments against what has been one of the best-known narrators inside and outside of Mexico.

“The Dog’ is good at doing the ‘Uf, uf and recontra uf’ and adding flavor to its transmissions, but for the rest with all due respect it is not useful for even mothers ”, said the ESPN journalist while Franco Escamilla made an astonished face.

Later, after making a small emphasis on a “little fight” they had over the comedian, Faitelson explained how he considers that ” Bermúdez is a very good historical narrator, but that journalism cannot be asked of him, because he is not a journalist “, while he also let it be known that cannot be asked for his opinion “because not knowing how to give your opinion” said the guest of the chapter stressing that he is not “telling a lie”.

Then, to finish, Faitelson himself continued to talk about ‘El Perro’ Bermúdez, letting it be known that “he thinks he is part of the popular culture of Mexican soccer , that is, So that you understand me, I can’t achieve Mexican soccer without ‘El Perro’ Bermúdez, he is a very traditional voice” , he added.

“ He is a good person, we have shaken hands, but he is not a journalist, he does not give points of view, he is a great narrator”, he said again while he was preparing to launch his corresponding shot in the pool game.
