Abbott has sent 300 truckloads of immigrants from Texas to sanctuary cities

Greg Abbott promised to send immigrants arriving at the border to sanctuary cities in response to the southern border crisis , because according to him, President Joe Biden, “does not does nothing” about it.

“As Biden does nothing, Texas will continue to take unprecedented steps to relieve our overwhelmed border communities and secure the border,” Abbott tweeted, adding that the bus was headed to Chicago.

The 550th Texas bus of migrants just left for Chicago.

This is not Abbott’s first shipment and it will not be the last that its immigrant bus program

perform; the program that began in April is aimed at sending border crossers seeking asylum from cities in his state to different sanctuary cities run by Democrats.

The Post reported that Abbott’s office confirmed that

as of Friday of 8.550 immigrants have been sent to Washington, DC, while more than 3700 immigrants have been bused to New York.

“The bus transportation mission is providing some much-needed relief to our overwhelmed border communities,” Abbott’s office said in a statement Friday.
