Crocs celebrates its 20th anniversary by giving away thousands of pairs: so you can participate for yours

Under the name of “Croctober”, the shoe company Crocs is celebrating its 10 anniversary giving away “tens of thousands of pairs” in a daily draw.

In order to participate, you must go to Crocs.com and fill in your information between 10 am and 3 pm A requirement essential to register is to become a member of Crocs Club.

The winners will be randomly selected. Those who do not win will be able to participate the next day until the drawings end on October 7.

The raffle is part of the celebrations of the first time that this peculiar footwear arrived on the market at the beginning of the years 2000 and that since then has generated divided opinions among consumers.

In recent years foam clogs have gained a surge in popularity among the younger generation. Generation Z recently ranked them as their favorite brand, according to a survey by Morning Consult.

As part of the celebration, Crocs Marketing Director Heidi Cooley said that will have more “surprise gifts” and exclusive products throughout the month.

“Croctober is one of our favorite moments of the year: a moment to recognize our fans, many of whom have supported us unconditionally from the beginning and who live at the heart of our brand”, said.

Crocs is also getting the details ready for “Croc Day” on 23 of October, a holiday that began in 2017 as an ode to footwear and that this year the company will release a limited-edition Croc Day Clog available to Crocs Club members beginning 20 October.

The iconic design of this shoe has led the brand to face legal disputes against some retail stores such as Walmart for imitation. Similarly, the company has caused controversy by collaborating with Balenciaga and launching a version with heels.
