It started as a couple’s argument, continued with the taking of a hostage, the attempted hijacking of a truck, and ended with the aggressor shot down by the police.
The incident occurred on Friday 30 in September in Guadalajara, Jalisco, when a The couple was traveling aboard a transport unit in Tlajomulco de Zúñiga. It should be noted that the young woman is a minor.
The conversation turned into a discussion and the man -approximately 45 years old- threatened the young woman with a knife, while forcing the driver of the unit to continue driving without stopping, preventing anyone from getting on or off, because to do so would kill a woman. The fact unleashed the panic of the other passengers who were on board.
Upon entering Guadalajara, the municipal police deployed a search operation for the truck and managed to intercept it outside a Social Security clinic. Several elements of the police went up to the unit to negotiate with the subject the release of his partner.

However, the negotiation was unsuccessful and the subject began to injure the young woman
, so the policemen shot him when they saw that the woman’s life was at risk; the subject fell dead in front of the transport unit and the woman was released to receive medical attention .
So far the causes that caused the collapse of man are unknown, investigations continue.
The video of the event was captured by the security camera of the unit and quickly went viral on social networks, causing speculation about the reasons that led the man to lose his temper.
Some Internet users asked that the young woman be attended to, since she evidently experienced violence, in addition to being in a relationship with someone much older than her.
