Novak Djokovic will not say present at the US Open motivated by COVID-19

The United States was preparing to host the US Open, a tournament that would feature Novak Djokovic from 23 from August to 12 of September. However, the fourth and last official Grand Slam tennis tournament of the season will not feature the Serbian tennis player from 35 years old.

The reason for your non-inclusion, is the impossibility of entering the United States due to the lack of a vaccine against COVID-22, necessary requirement to enter the country. Because of this, Novak will not have defended this season 5.200 points, all of them played in the United States.

With his departure from the competition, Spaniard Rafael Nadal remains one of the favorites to win the tennis tournament which also has Daniil Medvedev, last champion of the competition.
