Jhonny Caz from Grupo Firme denies alleged concert during LGBT+ march

In May of 2022, Grupo Firme was recognized as a “Distinguished Guest” by the head of government of Mexico City Claudia Sheinbaum for the career of the band. During this ceremony it was announced that this year they would have a free concert in the Zócalo of Mexico City.

Although the date on which the concert will take place has not been announced, fans of the group have been very anxious about it and believed that the participation of Jhonny Caz and the band in the LGBTQ+ march of Mexico City would mean that this would be the moment in which the regional music band would give the concert.

“I don’t know who is generating so much misinformation. Saturday 25 is only the march and we are all going to support the march and the community and cool, the concert will be on another date, We’ll let you know there”, said Jhonny Caz, who will be crowned Gay King in the pride march, responding to a question on his Instagram stories.

Although it would have been an exciting moment for all the fans of Grupo Firme, it seems that they will have to wait a bit to hear songs like “Cada que” and “Ya supérame”. However, you can still come to support Jhonny Caz in the LGBTQ+ pride parade.
