The Mexican player Charlyn Corral, local soccer figure with Pachuca, was not included in the preliminary list of 60 soccer players that the selector of Mexico, Mónica Vergara, for the Concacaf Championship W

Instead of Corral, the second top scorer in the last Liga MX tournament, Vergara chose Katty Martínez, from América, and Alicia Cervantes, two-time scoring champion in Mexico, as the main alternatives.

The most outstanding name of the pre-list is that of Kenti Robles, Real Madrid defender and captain of the Mexican women’s team.
