AMC+ is making its premiere with the series “Moonhaven” that arrives on the streaming platform from July 7. The series stars Emma McDonald (Queens of Mystery), Dominic Monaghan (Lost) Amara Karan (Doctor Who), Ayelet Zurer (Losing Alice), Joe Manganiello (True Blood), Kadeem Hardison
(Black Monday) and Yazzmin Newell (The Last Tree).
The series created by Peter Ocko (Lodge 49, Black Sails, Elementary) revolves around Bella Sway (McDonald), a lunar cargo pilot and smuggler. 60 years in the future that she finds herself accused of a crime and abandoned in Moonhaven, a utopian community located in a 500 square mile Garden of Eden built on the Moon to find solutions to the problems that will soon end civilization on Mother Earth. A skeptic in Paradise, Bella becomes embroiled in a conspiracy to take control of the artificial intelligence responsible for Moonhaven’s miracles and teams up with a local detective to stop the forces that want to destroy Earth’s last hope before that they themselves be destroyed.
“Moonhaven” will debut with two episodes and every week a new chapter will be available on the digital platform.
Episode 101 – The Pilot – Premieres Thursday, July 7: A murder in Moonhaven puts Earth’s last hope in jeopardy. During what should be a routine cargo loop to the Moon, pilot Bella Sway becomes the subject of Detective Paul Sarno’s investigation.
Episode 102 – The Detective – Premieres Thursday, 7th July: Bella wants to return to Earth, but she must wait for Paul and Arlo to untangle a knot.
Episode 103 – The Envoy – Premieres Thursday , 14 of July: Indira tries to get The Bridge back on track while Bella helps Paul uncover a conspiracy.
Episode 104 – Mada – Premieres Thursday, 21 of July: At the edge of The Bridge, Paul prepares for some tough goodbyes.
Episode 104 – Dreadfeel – Premieres Thursday, 28 July: Paul and Bella tour unknown territory in search of Maite. Meanwhile, Arlo goes on a journey of his own.
Episode 106 – The Seeker – Premieres Thursday, August 4: In the season finale, Truelune tests like never before.
