CJNG: alleged members record video while closing the road in Mexico

After President Andrés Manuel López Obrador minimized the checkpoint installed in Badiraguato, Sinaloa against a group of journalists who were covering his tour of the “Golden Triangle”, a video began to circulate of alleged members of the Jalisco Nueva Generación cartel (CJNG) who are recorded at the moment they close a highway somewhere in Mexican territory.

Caravan of at least 10 vehicles

During road closures, you see at least to 10 vehicles belonging to the CJNG

parked in one of the lanes of the highway, although their location and the date on which they were parked are unknown. It was recorded.

CJNG extends its tentacles

The men, wearing tactical gear, claim to be from the CJNG and walk along the road as if they were in their own territory. Some even stop to talk in the buffer zone.

And it is that the CJNG has extended its tentacles in several states of Mexico , where they seek control of the drug, for which they have unleashed a fierce fight against their rival groups, which has caused a spiral of violence in various regions of the country.

Outside of its stronghold, the state of Jalisco, the CJNG is waging a fierce war with the Guerreros Unidos cartel in the states of Jalisco and Michoacán, where lately has launched drone strikes.

Despite the violence in the country, President López Obrador continues to insist on his policy of “hugs, not bullets”, which has been harshly criticized by the opposition, in the face of the wave of violence in the country.

The president even recently minimized the checkpoint that was installed on a highway in Badiraguato, land of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, against reporters who were on their way to cover one of his events.

“Nothing happens, nothing happened,” declared the president without delving further into the situation experienced by the reporters.
