La Liga MX has hit the table several times by time to hire great world-class footballers. Although some arrive to burn their last cartridges, they continue to maintain a high level within the field. This is the case of Luis Suárez and Edinson Cavani, Uruguayan attackers who were probed within Mexican soccer.

Economic power makes all this type of large contracting possible, but even the the most powerful in Liga MX have their limits. According to information from Marca Claro, the Águilas del América were tempting Cavani and Suárez, but there was a factor that disrupted all their plans: the enormous salary of the attackers.

How much do Luis Suárez and Edinson Cavani earn?

The “Gunman” was very sincere and admitted that from Mexico they intended to sign him , but what the Mexican team did not count on was their exorbitant salary. According to information from Fútbol Total MX, Luis Suárez received about $6.4 million dollars a year.

Edinson Cavani’s case was even worse. The Manchester United striker charged $12.1 million dollars per year. Without a doubt, they are a couple of figures that are totally unattainable and that broke any type of possibility of a transaction that would change the schemes in the Liga MX.
