The Chicago police are investigating the case of a woman who claims she was kidnapped, raped and chained inside an empty house on the south side for days.

The woman of 36 years old , whom WGN News does not name, says she was held captive and sexually assaulted inside a West Pullman home for four or five days.

West Pullman resident Antione Dobine was chatting with a neighbor about vacant properties when he heard banging in an empty home on his block.

He then heard a woman call for help and called the police — who found her “chained” inside. https://t.co/swKjNzmvmT

The woman was walking towards a neighborhood store last week when he says he ran into a man he had met before.

“I ended up bumping into him and he said, ‘you know, come here for a minute’”, said the woman, who recounted how the aggressor held her against her will.

“I was trying to fight him, but I couldn’t”, he said.

The woman said that the male offender, allegedly from some 60 years, took her to an empty house on the block 119 of S. Eggleston. The woman adds that they took her to the basement and dragged her up to the attic.

“He raped me twice”, said the woman. She “she left Me there handcuffed and chained” .

The woman said that the suspect chained her by the ankles. She said her daily cries for help went unanswered until around 5:30pm on Saturday .

“As I got closer, I heard boom, boom, boom! help!” said community activist Antione Dobine. “That’s what made me call the police.”

Dobine, aka “D-Ice,” relayed the discovery on Facebook Live.

“I just located a girl inside this house. Police say she’s in chains,” he said in the video.

Before police arrived on scene, Dobine noted that he saw a man come out of the empty house. According to Dobine, the man was wearing a blue denim corduroy jacket and was about 5 feet 8 inches tall.

After police rescued the woman in the house was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment. She said she’s thankful Dobine stepped in.

“He could have ignored me, but he listened to me and helped me,” he said. “I am just blessed. I am truly blessed.”

West Pullman resident Louis Walton-Muhammed said he hopes the incident will draw attention to other abandoned properties nearby.

“Let’s open up the abandoned houses,” said Walton-Muhammed. “We are going to walk through the houses. Let’s do a search. Let’s close it again and make sure everything is ok”.

Dobine said he hopes to raise money to help turn vacant properties into resources for the community.

“Citizens returning from incarceration need a place to stay,” Dobine said. “Our mental health people need a place to stay to recover.”

Victim says she is thankful to be alive and doesn’t want what that happened to no one else. “I think she will attack again,” she said. “I just want him to be caught”.
