The Council of the European Union (EU) gave the green light this Tuesday to others 500 million euros to finance weapons for Ukraine to defend itself from Russia

“Tomorrow’s history is being written today, on the battlefields of Ukraine,” the EU’s high representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, said in a statement. With respect to the 2. million euros in total that the EU has dedicated to financing military aid for kyiv, stated that “it is only part of the European efforts to help Ukraine defend itself”.
The Council once again demanded that Russia put end “immediately” its military aggression in Ukraine and withdraw “unconditionally” all its military forces and equipment from all Ukrainian territory, as well as fully respect the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of its neighbor within its borders internationally recognized.
