Chiquis Rivera is part of the Rivera dynasty and her mother Jenni Rivera propelled her into the world of entertainment. For La Diva de la Banda, Chiquis and her children were the most precious thing in life. However, weeks before Chiquis and Jenni died they were estranged by rumors that the young woman would have had something to do with her mother’s husband.
The interpreter of ” Animate y Verás” always denied that he had betrayed his mother and unfortunately the fact could never be clarified between the two. Jenni died tragically but in the months before her death, the fact of being distanced from her mother had a very bad emotional effect on Chiquis.
During an interview with Adela Micha for La Saga, Chiquis talked about it again and said again that she had even thought about suicide.
“We were fine. Those months, which were June, July and August, we were very well. We would go to lunch together alone, we would do our nails; like we finally had that relationship of daughter and mother, ”said Chiquis. “Then in September was when everything ; it was because of false gossip; those long tongues, what do I tell them. Chiquis also said, “It was very difficult; I thought many times about taking my own life at that time, since we hadn’t spoken to each other for almost three months“.
