Seven men, including a minor, were executed by subjects who kidnapped them from a home located in the Lacandon Junglea, in the southeastern Mexican state of Chiapas.
The State Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the facts and reported that it had initiated an investigation against the person or persons responsible for the crimes.
Relatives of the victims indicated that several subjects violently broke into the victims’ home
, taking Ángel “N”, 52 years old ; Moisés “N”, aged 33 years old; Osvar “N”, from 22; Jacobo “N”, from 52; and David “N”, from 33, all from the municipality Marquis of Comillas.
The assassins also took Laurentino “N”, from 63 year old; and Uriel “N”, from 38, both originally from Oaxaca and with address in Marques de Comillas. All the victims were members of a single family.
According to the local authorities, the assassins would have gone up to all the victims in a white van.
During the morning of Saturday, the Municipal Police reported the discovery of the lifeless bodies, including the minor who was recognized by his mother. The victims presented the coup de grace and were located between the ejidos Zapata and Nuevo Paraíso in the municipality of Marqués de Comillas.
Witnesses stated that the murderers were tall, fair-skinned and thin, and some covered their faces with balaclavas and others with half-face scarves who claimed to have the order to take them away.
Through a statement, the State Prosecutor’s Office reported that continue with the investigations to clarify the facts and endorsed its firm commitment that the act will not go unpunished.
Unofficially, it is said that the murders were part of a revenge, since the deceased today belonged to a criminal group
, who was involved in the death of José Alfredo Peñaloza Perdomo, Tania Michel Lizcano and María de la Cruz Maldonado, killed in early February 2021 .
