The Colombian national team still does not have a technical director and in a sports program in that country they were debating who could be the ideal candidate to take the reins of the coffee growers, however, one of the hosts of the program proposed a coach who has been dead for almost two years.

The situation became somewhat embarrassing when Julián Téllez, one of the panelists proposed Alejandro Sabella, who passed away in December 2020. “Alejandro Sabella could be a possibility”, he commented while the others were surprised by his proposal.

After his comment, the journalist Carlos Alemán clarified the situation by explaining that it would be impossible since Sabella had died. “No, Alejandro Sabella is no longer with us, he explained”.

Alejandro Sabella made his debut as coach in 2006 at the helm of Corinthians and in his career he managed teams such as Perugia, Fiorentina, Parma and the Udinese of Italy; Monterrey and was even DT of the Argentina team, with which he established himself as runner-up in the Brazil World Cup 2014.
