HOUSTON – A man who was apparently in the process of getting a divorce showed up at an apartment and fatally shot his daughter, mother-in-law and wife before taking his own life with a shot, this Thursday morning in the northwest of the city.
The four bodies were discovered by Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies after they received an emergency call reporting a shooting.
Investigators investigate the finding of the four dead people.
One of the victims would be a four-year-old girl, the minor’s mother and grandmother. The attacker would be the husband, father and son-in-law of the victims.
Sheriff Ed González said in a press conference that the suspect and his wife were in the process of divorce and that they had reports that the man was abusive with his ex and his daughter and that he had even tried to drown her.
The incident was recorded in the block 9700 Cypreswood Drive, in an apartment complex.
González said that this would be a case of suicide-homicide.
The victims would be of Asian origin, according to González.
The victims were lifeless in the living room of the apartment when the authorities arrived.
