Musa Yamak, a 38 year old boxer, lost his life on the ring this weekend, when he suffered a heart attack while fighting the Ugandan Hamza Wandera.
The events took place in Graching, a town very close to Munich, Germany, where the function was held in which at the beginning of the third round, the boxer born in Turkey and nationalized German, fell to the canvas while he was away from his rival and lost his life.
In the video circulating on the Internet, it can be seen that Yamak begins to feel unwell, since he seems dizzy and leans a little, while the referee has momentarily stopped the fight; then he gets up, shakes his head a little and decides to lie down face down on the ring, but it is seen that a few centimeters from the canvas his body collapses .
Musa was immediately treated in the ring and received first aid, but it was not enough and nothing could be done. He was later transferred to a nearby hospital, where attempts were made to revive him, but this was unsuccessful and the doctors determined that the cause of death was a heart attack.
Musa Yamak debuted in professional boxing at 2017, when he was 33 years old, and had an undefeated record of 8 wins, all of them by knockout. Last November he had won the WBFed International title after defeating his similar Belarusian Siarhei Huliakevich.
