The new BMW 3 Series 2023 has already been fully shown to the public. This popular model has undergone a slight change of image at first glance but if we go deeper it is a little broader than it seems. This update will allow this generation to face the rest of the commercial life that lies ahead.

The exterior design has some variants and the cabin is better equipped technologically. In the mechanical section there are also numerous electrified options.

This variant has debuted with two body variants such as the renewed 3 Series, and also in a more familiar mode such as the Series 3 Touring.

The changes in its exterior are concentrated in the front and in the rear. At the front are new headlights. Full LED headlights are now designed slimmer than previous versions and integrate inverted L-shaped lights for daytime driving. Also, as an option, there are adaptive Full LED headlights.

As for the front grille, the air inlets have been modified as they are now finished in high gloss black and are located just below. It also opens double bars. The side view allows us to realize that the great novelty is that now all versions will have alloy wheels 17 inches.

At the rear we find some pilots that also make use of LED technology. Exhausts will vary in size depending on the engine the model is equipped with.

Inside, this renovated Series 3 stands out for having a more digital and connected environment. The big news is having a BMW Curved Display system incorporated as standard. A system composed of two screens. It also has a digital instrument cluster .3 inches and on the other hand a screen of 14.9 inches dedicated entirely to infotainment.

As for driving aids, this model has a frontal collision warning with automatic braking. It is also capable of detecting pedestrians, cyclists, other vehicles, cruise control, lane departure warning and speed limit assistant.

Mechanics

The new BMW 3 Series, in its two variants, will be available together with a selection of petrol and diesel engines. The electrification will be very present being a light hybrid (MHEV) of 48 volts which improves the efficiency level of TwinPower Turbo engines. It will also have different plug-in hybrid variables (PHEV).

This model will be associated with a cash box eight-speed Steptronic automatic gearbox. Its power range goes from 150 CV up to 169 CV and rear or all-wheel drive version will be optional.
