The Bayer Leverkusen coach, Gerardo Seoane, gave his opinion on the Mexican team and highlighted that the ‘Tri’ lacks players who are decisive in important clubs in the different leagues internationals.

In what will be a tour of Bayer Leverkusen, where he will be playing a friendly match against Toluca, Seoane highlighted that the Mexican team has technically better players than those of older generations but that important clubs do not arrive.

“ In recent years there was a coach who was very important at club and national team level , had some very contrasting players, now the team seems to be more talented, but not with the strength of players from big clubs. We don’t always manage to watch the league matches, but when there are international matches, we always try to follow those matches, those games against Mexico are always played for Chile, Ecuador”, he opined.

In the same way, the coach of the aspirin team commented that the Mexican player is not as physical as the German and that is why it is difficult to see them in championships like the Bundesliga, since according to Seoane, the Mexican player lacks physical power and speed compared to the German footballer.

“A study would have to be done because statements like that cannot be made, for me the Mexican player is very technical, but he does not have much physical presence and in the German league that is required and perhaps that is why is not easy. We like offensive players, who run quickly, “said the strategist.
