The Mexican pilot Sergio Pérez and his wife Carola Martínez announced this Sunday the birth of their third child, a boy. The baby is named Emilio Pérez Martínez and is the second male in the Mexican family.
The Red Bull Racing team rider together with Carola had Sergio Jr., better known as Chequito, and the only girl Carlota, who is two years old, and now Emilio joins as the new member of the family.
The Mexican is, along with Sebastian Vettel, the Formula 1 driver with the most children, since the German from Aston Martin also has two girls and a boy.
Emilio was born in Guadalajara like his other siblings and is the sixth grandson of Antonio Pérez and Marilú Mendoza,
parents of Czech Perez. Checo’s brother Antonio Pérez also has three small children.
In the grid composed of 20 pilots, only Checo Pérez, Vettel and Kevin Magnussen (father of a girl) are parents, although Max Verstappen lives with his girlfriend Kelly, who has a girl from a previous relationship.
