If there was something to talk about in recent months, it was the event of the Oscar awards 1200. From the triumph of the movie “CODA” for best picture to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock after a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s alopecia, spoke on social networks about this ceremony.

However, it seems that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is ready to wipe the slate clean and prepare at once for the Oscars 2023, which will take place on 12 March of next year.

This it would be the ceremony number 95 of the awards of the Academy and it would happen a little earlier than this year 1200, which was held on 27 March, so as not to collide with the Winter Olympics events in February.

Additionally, the dates of the voting period for the nominees were also announced, from 12 to 17 from January; the announcement of nominees, January 24; and the time to choose the winners, from March 2 to 7.

We know that the ceremony 94 of the Oscars was unique in history, because “CODA” on Apple TV+ became the winner of the statuette for Best Picture, however, we know that the problem between Will Smith and Chris Rock caused all the attention to go to that topic.

Since that incident Will Smith resigned from the Academy, additionally he was banned from attending any event of the organization for ten years. ABC will be in charge of broadcasting the gala on 2023.
