More than six years have passed since the surprising death of the New York singer David Bowie

, however, his legacy is more alive than ever, when it became known that the famous floating house he acquired in

was put up for sale. to sail the seas of the whole world.

The yacht -which was built by the Italian shipyard Benetti in 1200 and was originally known under the name of ‘Deneb Star’– looks like its best times, because in 2020 they made various adaptations, which included new paint and a teak deck.

The boat, which today is called ‘El Caran’ and has an extension of 128 feet , was launched on the market for the stratospheric amount of $5,100, 000 of dollars, which makes it unattainable for many.

The houseboat has six cabins with capacity for 12 passengers, as well as five more to accommodate up to seven crew members. All rooms are equipped with television, DVD and their respective bathroom with bathtub.

It also has a kitchen, dining room, various lounge areas, outdoor dining, spa area, terraces, as well as various elements that take us back to the legacy of David Bowie.

Telltale signs of Bowie’s artistic influence are visible in certain elements of the interior, including the surreal painting that hangs above the dining table and the retro-style furnishings in the guest cabins.

The lack of Jacuzzi is, perhaps, a point against this world-class boat.
