Russian aircraft killed one person and injured three others, launching 15 missile attacks against the Ukrainian village of Komyshuvaja, in the Zaporizhia region, denounced Oleksandr Staruj, head of the Regional Military Administration.
“Today, 11 May, the village of Komyshuvaja, in the region of Zaporizhia, came under merciless bombardment. Some 15 missiles exploded in residential neighborhoods (…). Dozens of buildings were damaged. One person died at the hands of the occupiers,” says Staruj’s statement released on Telegram, according to the local agency Ukrinform.

In addition, three other people were injured in the attack, according to the regional military administration.
Previously, adds the Ukrainian agency, this Wednesday it had been reported that the air defense systems shot down a Russian missile over the village of Komyshuvaja
.
Later, the regional military administration warned that the Russian army was shelling residential areas of that city with artillery fire and asked people not to leave the shelters.
For his part, the general director to the IAEA, the UN atomic agency, Rafael Grossi, proposed to travel “as soon as possible” to the Zaporizhia nuclear plant, under Russian military control.
“The situation at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant remains a challenge due to the presence of Russian forces and Rosatom personnel on site”, said the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in a statement. “Although the IAEA continues to adjust its safeguards activities, the situation is unsustainable,” warned Grossi.
“For this reason, I have proposed leading a visit to the Zaporizhia plant, with safeguards inspectors and nuclear safety experts, after the necessary consultations and as soon as possible”, added the director of the IAEA.
