Miguel Herrera spoke to the media prior to the first leg of the Clausura Tournament quarterfinals 2022, in which the UANL Tigers will face Blue Cross. The “Piojo” pointed out that football and the Liguilla give revenge, in reference to the fall suffered by the university team in the last tournament.
“The boys drag us in their success, soccer gives us rematches every week… and in the Liguilla the same
. We are in pain from the last tournament, at the time it was painful because we thought we could have reached the Final and we stayed on the edge . We learn from that… We are going step by step, in the first part of the Liguilla, we will do everything possible to go to the Semifinal and overcome what we did in the last tournament”, explained Herrera.
Let us remember that Tigres were eliminated by León in the semifinals of the Apertura Tournament 2021. This tournament gives them the opportunity to redeem themselves and seek revenge on their way to the Mexican title.
