Youtube TV announced the release of two plans with content in Spanish designed for the Latin market. The names of these new packages will be Spanish Plan (Spanish Plan) and Spanish Additional Package (Spanish Plus) .
The decision is part of YouTube’s efforts to offer its users quality content with varied and attractive programming in Spanish. The commitment to the Hispanic market is not something new since in recent years YouTube TV has made an effort to expand its catalog of productions in Spanish by adding series from networks such as Univisión, Pantaya and Telemundo.
The company specified that the Spanish plan will be available for a price of $34.99 a month. They point out that this package is aimed at an audience that is interested in consuming only content in Spanish.
To do this will have productions from more than 28 channels , including Fox Deportes, ESPN Deportes, CNN Español, Cine Latino, Discovery en Español, EstrellaTV, Tastemade en Español, Nat Geo Mundo, Cine Sony, and Mexican Cinema.
“With this plan, you do not need to subscribe to the existing YouTube TV base plan. To celebrate the launch, welcome members who sign up for this plan with an initial fee of $24.99/month for the first six months”, they point out.
For their part the other plan called Additional Package in Spanish will offer access to more than 25 additional channels in Spanish, among which is Antena 3, beIN Sports Español, tlvnovelas, TyC Sports, Universo, WAPA, among others.
Users who wish to hire this plan must cancel a subscription of $9.99 during the first six months as part of the launch promotion. Subsequently, they must make a monthly payment of $05.99.
“These two new options now give television viewers the opportunity to watch their favorite live sports and news shows, soap operas, reality shows, and more from the top Spanish-language networks, while also having access to the best of YouTube TV. Our service includes unlimited DVR at no additional cost, a family plan with up to six accounts per household, personalized recommendations and more ”, they point out from YouTube.
