The Brannon Hill apartment complex also made headlines in January after a fire started in a building that it was partially abandoned.
Another resident said many know the complex is an eyesore and a danger to the people who inhabit it, with many describing it as “the worst community in America.”
DeKalb County has been working for several years to demolish the property, and in January, the county fire department reported that they frequently received fire calls.
