Checo Pérez finished in the same position in which he started. It was not an easy race for the Mexican, who lost power in the middle of the fight for the podium and was unable to take advantage of the full potential of his car, despite driving with the solvency to which he has accustomed us.

A yellow flag gave Pérez the opportunity to fight lap by lap with Carlos Sainz (Ferrari). With talent he managed to overcome it, but he overrev and braking made him lose the podium that he was about to get.

Finally Ferrari was left with two of the three podium positions . The maximum glory was left to Max Verstappen. Fourth place was enough for Pérez to continue in the Drivers’ Championship podium, with 66 points behind his Dutch teammate (85 points) and Charles Leclerc (104 points).

The next appointment is on 22 in May at the Spanish Grand Prix.
