Ana Bárbara assures that the LGBT community helped her get out of depression

In an interview with the program “First hand”, Ana Bárbara spoke about the moments during her career that she has suffered from depression and how the LGBT community has been super important so that the singer has managed to get ahead.

“My gay community that has supported me through the ups and downs, more down times than up” , confessed the interpreter who also recounted once that she helped one of her fans to also get out of the background “once I received a message: ‘I thought in killing myself for how I live my situation’. I was very depressed that time and I told him: ‘Either we get up together or we both go to hell’. But very nice feedback.”

When she felt “lost and in total depression” she received support from “obviously from my fans, but many even from the community”. She said that the young man with whom she lived this situation is “the representative of that community that sometimes that sensitivity exceeds them, a very intense life, as I will understand.”

The singer assured that she constantly fights against her adversities: “Yes they knock me down, but I get up. I pick up the pieces of my soul from the floor and reinvent myself again”.

Recently, Ana Bárbara released a new song with Cristian Castro called “From time to time”, and Today 08 in May they will have their first concert at the National Auditorium of Mexico.
