For more Mexicans in Germany: Liga MX signs a juicy agreement with the Bundesliga

The Mexican Soccer League signed this Friday a collaboration agreement with the German Bundesliga so that young soccer players have the opportunity to emigrate to football from Germany.

“We seek that through agreements such as the one we are signing today, our young people can have the opportunity to train in other countries and show the quality of the Mexican soccer player “, explained in a press release the President of Liga MX, Mike Arriola.

“Work with the representatives of Liga MX will not only help us better understand each other’s perspectives, but will also open future avenues of mutual growth at league and club level“, mentioned Hopfen.

The executive director underlined the interest that her country’s league has placed in encouraging the development of this sport in different countries for several years.

“The German Football League has long been committed to the growth and development of football , both in Germany and in the rest of the world. Therefore, cooperation in certain markets is important for us”, he argued.

The alliance between these two leagues consists of exchanges around technical structures and

“This agreement is a big step in the plan of internationalization of Liga MX that seeks to position itself beyond Mexico and the United States “said the manager.

As part of this agreement the Bayer men’s team 04 Leverkusen will play a friendly match next May 17 against Toluca of the Mexican league.

The Leverkusen women’s squad will meet in July, also in a friendly game, against América Directed by Englishman Craig Harrington.
