Canelo has already won the first round: Saúl Álvarez is already guaranteed a fortune from his fight against Dmitry Bivol

Saúl Álvarez is one of the best fighters today. The level Canelo’s success and popularity have made him one of the most coveted rivals in the boxing world. However, the achievements of the Mexican also translate from the economic point of view. Without getting on to the ring or even put on a glove to face Dmitry Bivol, the man from Guadalajara already has enormous profits.

This fight May 7 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, will have two special ingredients. The first has to do with the possibility that Saúl Álvarez strips Dmitry Bivol of his light heavyweight belt

According to information from Mediotiempo, the Mexican boxer already has a guaranteed profit close to $54 millions of dollars. This figure does not include the income that Canelo can receive through the percentages of the PPV and the television rights

. However, one estimate places Álvarez’s total profit at $81 millions of dollars.

The confidence of Dmitry Bivol

The young Russian fighter will not keep a large part of the loot, but among his intentions the money would be in the background. The Russian’s main idea is to show himself to the world and be able to hit the table at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“I’m going to try to hurt him as much as I can when I have the opportunity to do so. I have a belt and I must defend it (…) I am different, this is what I wanted when I started professional boxing”, said the Russian boxer.
