A couple was caught on video being kicked off a JetBlue flight in Florida after “yelling racist and homophobic slurs”, since the wife claimed that they were removed because they are Trump supporters.
The images, first posted on TikTok and then shared on Reddit, they show the woman arguing on board the plane in West Palm Beach.
“Do you see what is happening in the United States?” she yelled. “He didn’t like what we said, and now they’re throwing us off a plane, and all of you will have to wait.
“This is fucking scandalous! Guys, we’re going to become China, it’s coming,” she continued in her tirade. “You don’t like the words that come out of my mouth. Speechless! Speechless! Freedom of expression is dead!”
At one point, the woman’s husband utters homophobic slurs, but mostly sits quietly during the woman’s breakdown.
The woman said that the United States was going to “become China”, since she stated that “freedom of expression is dead”.
The woman also claims that she used to be a Broadway dancer and praised Elon Musk, saying “he is the best…he is the king!”
He also yells that he “isn’t getting that damn vaccine” and calls passengers who wear masks “sheep.”
The woman provoked ridicule from other travelers when she threatened to sue the airline and the person who filmed the wild video.
The woman ranted about a variety of topics, including saying she would not get the vaccine.
The woman’s husband used leng homophobic speech while on board the flight.
“Excuse me, it’s our anniversary”, she is also heard saying as they are escorted off.
At one point, yells: “We have to get off the plane because swe are Trump supporters”.
“Seriously, that’s really what I think it is,” he continued.
Charlotte D’Alessio, who posted the video on TikTok, wrote: “A couple yelling racist and homophobic slurs wouldn’t get off a plane leaving West Palm Beach today. A free show for everyone on board”.
The woman initially said that she would not get off the plane and that the other passengers would have to wait.
Last week, the Federal Aviation Administration announced that its “zero tolerance policy” for dealing with unruly passengers will become permanent.
The agency implemented the policy on January 05 of 2021, after seeing a disturbing increase in incidents. Under policy, the FAA issues tickets to passengers who misbehave in lieu of warning or advisory letters.
The woman drew ridicule from other passengers on the plane when he threatened to sue the airline. “The Zero Tolerance policy, combined with the agency’s public awareness campaign, has helped reduce the incident rate by more than 60 percent. The FAA will continue to work with its airline, worker, airport, security and law enforcement partners to continue to reduce the number of incidents,” the agency said.
