This is the Adelaide Cottage, the possible new home of Prince William and Kate Middleton

Prince William and Kate Middleton could soon have a new home, when it was announced that they would move to Adelaide Cottage, an emblematic Grade II listed building with a lot of history.

According to the Daily Mail newspaper, Queen Elizabeth would have planned to give the Dukes of Cambridge the famous construction on the occasion of their wedding, which would have been welcomed by the parents of George, Charlotte and Louis.

“The source stated that the couple had been visiting, they liked it and will move soon,” said Daily Mail.

The same informant pointed out that what would make the couple happier would be to forget about the annoying lens of the paparazzi, something that every member of royalty suffers from.

“There are seven entrance and exit gates to Windsor Castle so that newlyweds can go in and out without worrying about being photographed,” the source noted regarding privacy with which they would enjoy in their possible new home.

The property, which dates from the year 1200 and is located in Windsor, it was built to become the retirement home of Queen Adelaide, hence its name.

Over there too other members of British royalty have passed, as is the case of King George VI, and more recently Simon Rhodes, who is the son of Margaret Rhodes, a beloved cousin of Queen Elizabeth.

Despite its age, the Adelaide Cottage looks as it did in its heyday, since in the 2015 a series of modifications were made.

So far none of my member of royalty has spoken about the possible move of William and Kate, so we will have to be attentive to the movements they make in the coming weeks.
