Two Russian patrol boats sailing in the Black Sea have been destroyed by fire allegedly from two Ukrainian planes not manned, according to the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valerii Zaluzhny, on his Telegram channel.
According to the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform, which quotes this commander, “two Russian Raptor-class ships were destroyed near Zmiinyi (Snake) Island in the early morning today”.
“Bayraktar is operating”, Zaluzhnyi wrote in reference to a Turkish medium-altitude, long-distance unmanned combat aerial vehicle capable of autonomous or remotely controlled flight operations.

According to Ukraine, Russian ships had previously tried to conduct reconnaissance at the mouth of the Danube .
“Under cover of darkness, the ships of Assault Raptor enemies tried to reconnoiter the situation at the mouth of the Danube. Sensing the danger, the enemy ships retreated towards Zmiiny, but there they were hit by Bayraktar’s punishment”, the statement says.
Zaluzhnyi’s statement is accompanied by some images, apparently taken with drones, in which it is seen how projectiles destroy ships.
Ukrainian fighter shot down by Russia
Russian forces have shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 near Sloviansk, in eastern Ukraine, where the military campaign launched by Moscow, reported Russian military sources on Monday.

Russian forces also struck nine concentration areas of soldiers and equipment.
As a result of the attacks, they died 160 soldiers and were destroyed 26 armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Konashénkov said.
