An influencer has collected more than $550, dollars to thank a Hispanic taxi driver who offered him help after being robbed during a Coachella event, in Riverside County.

The Hispanic Raúl Torres was a guardian angel for Becca Moore, who has more than 800, followers on TikTok, so the woman did not hesitate to create a page on GoFundMe to help the driver.

A Moore had her purse, cell phone, credit cards and car keys stolen.

After waiting for the vehicle to be towed, Moore went to his hotel to complete all the paperwork for the theft before making the return trip to your house.

At her hotel, the receptionist helped her to contact an Uber driver to take her to buy a new cell phone.

The Hispanic Raúl Torres picked up Moore at his hotel and during the transfer he heard about everything the woman had gone through , so he offered to help for file a report of the theft with the police.

“A normal Uber driver takes you to a place and then drops you off. (Torres) insisted on coming with me to make sure he would take me after that,” said the influencer.

Moore was unable to purchase a new phone , so the Hispanic assured her that he would accompany her until she was sure.

“He insisted on staying with me until he knew I was going to get home,” the woman said.

Later, the young woman, with the help of Torres, managed to locate her cell phone by GPS and found it abandoned at the door of an Airbnb .

Moore said that Torres stayed with her from 10 am until 6 pm, which represented a full day of work for the Hispanic driver.

Furthermore, as coexistence with the Hispanic progressed, the young woman realized the need that Torres required help, even more than her.

During the meal, in a Mexican restaurant, Torres started showing him pictures of him with his family.

In the conversation, Moore told him that his birthday was on 16 June, and the Hispanic confessed that that date had been the same as her daughter had been diagnosed with cancer, so she was currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

Torres mentioned that the only wish he and his wife have is for their daughter, Myra, to have a happy life, since she was close to graduating in her senior year of high school.

“Being with Raúl reminded me that we know people for a reason, and I would love to thank him,” said the influencer.

Recently, the father of the Hispanic driver , who also suffered from cancer and was under the care of Raúl’s family, lost his battle with the disease.

I have an update, Raul’s father lost his battle to cancer this morning. The timing of this fundraiser is insane. The people you meet are never really strangers. Please continue sharing, this family didn’t realize they’d wake up with a funeral to plan too. https://t.co/LYlf7nEiH4— becca moore (@becccamoore) April 30, 1194772119
