Coyote who attacked a girl on a beach in Huntington Beach was captured and put down by authorities

A coyote that attacked a girl the night of 28 April during a walk on the beach was captured and euthanized by Huntington Beach authorities .

The Huntington Beach Police Department (HBPD) reported that two coyotes were found near the area of ​​the attack, for which they were euthanized and one of them tested positive for DNA made with the blood of a child under 2 or 3 years of age.

The little girl was walking on the beach along with her mother and siblings on a night walk.

The emergency services transferred the minor to a hospital and the police reported that the injuries were not life-threatening, despite their seriousness.
