In the sixth and before the last gala of ‘Tu Cara Me Suena 2’, Helen Ochoa had a great professional and personal responsibility, but it had something as special as it was unique: she became Jenni Rivera with the blessing of Chiquis Rivera and her brothers.
As is known, not only because we see her a lot together, but because she also mentions her in each of her books, Chiquis is one of Helen’s best friends, therefore the Univision reality show participant lived with the daughter of the Diva de la Banda, from the funniest moments to the most terrible.
So when he found out it was supposed to be Jenni, he knew it wouldn’t be easy. “For me it has been a very difficult week…. I know what all of them have been through, and I can’t even imagine something happening to my mom, she had a great responsibility“, he said at the end of his presentation with tears in the eyes.
But prior to this, and with the complicity of the coach and judge, Angélica Vale, Chiquis sent him a gift to her friend, letting her know that she and her siblings were happy that Helen was imitating her mom.
And boy, did the pressure work in her favor, because although she was not the winner, her interpretation was so great that all the judges were affected in such a way that they confessed that they felt Jenni’s presence in her.
