They injured a child and several Flamengo fans in a Copa Libertadores match in Chile (Video)

Flamengo today denounced attacks and racist gestures by the fans of the Universidad Católica during the Copa Libertadores match played in Santiago de Chile and requested a harsh sanction for the “cross entity ”, unable to control their brave bars.

In a message spread on social networks, the directive of the “ Mengao” assured “on Thursday night, at the San Carlos de Apoquindo stadium, in Santiago de Chile, unfortunate scenes of racism, throwing stones, bottles and flares were recorded where a child was injured by the opposing fans towards the red and black fans”.

“We can’t take this anymore! Severe measures must be taken,” added the Brazilian club. Shortly after the match, a series of images of the stands and outside the stadium were posted on social media, one of which showed a child with a bleeding head wound.

The complaint comes just three days after supporters of the Catholic University and its main rival, Colo Colo, they will fight in the stands of the same stadium during the dispute of the national classic, which ended with a draw at one goal.

Flamengo won this Thursday (2-3) and placed at the head of their Copa Libertadores qualifying group with nine points, six more than their rival who go third.

The entity of “the strip” is going through a serious game and results crisis that keeps it in the lower part of the national classification, very far from the leaders, Colo Colo and Unión Española.
