Jesús 'Canelo' Angulo denies that they have “made the bed” for Michel Leaño in Chivas de Guadalajara

After the departure of Marcelo Michel Leaño from the Chivas de Guadalajara , they still question whether the dismissal of the coach was provoked by his own players, although Jesús ‘Canelo’ Angulo denied that they had “made his bed”.

The Chivas made a space in their Twitter account, where the person interviewed by the attendees was the player Angulo, being questioned by fans who still believe that a part of the responsibility lies with the players in the situation they experienced under Leaño’s command.

“No, we dedicate ourselves to working whoever is there. It’s our job and we have to do it in the best way, that’s not the case. We are the ones who are affected if things go well or bad“, Angulo pointed out in the Chivas Twitter space.

There are still possibilities to go directly to the Liguilla

Although Chivas do not depend of themselves to qualify directly for the Liguilla, they will have to win by a large score against the Rayos del Necaxa and with a combination of results they would avoid having to qualify through the playoffs, although ‘Canelo’ Angulo is aware of that.

“ We have that hope of qualifying among the first four. We are focused on that. in getting a good result and waiting for other results to be combined to finish in the first four. But if not, I think we had a great closing and that will be important to have, the motivations and the desire to have good results”, he added.

Chivas de Guadalajara need to beat Necaxa and expect a defeat by Atlas and a draw in the Clásico Joven between América and Cruz Azul to qualify directly for the Liguilla.
