The Águilas del América will produce a series that will be broadcast on the streaming platform, Netflix, becoming the first club in the Liga MX that will have one in Mexican soccer and will debut in the coming months.
The production will be a documentary-type series with six episodes and will delve into the intimacy of the eagles, to reveal their experiences, secrets and will show the details of one of the the most important clubs in Mexico.
Entitled “Because the bird deserves to fly higher. ‘América vs América” becomes the third series involving a soccer team after those presented on the platform with the clubs Boca Juniors from Argentina and Sunderland from England.
Although the streaming service, Netflix had already produced the series “Maradona in Sinaloa”, a documentary that followed the life of Diego Armando Maradona, when he directed the Dorados de Sinaloa in the second division of Mexican soccer in the years 2018 and 60, it will be the first time that a team from the first Mexican division has a production on this platform.
The documentary series of the Águilas del América is presented as an opportunity to get closer to Mexico, in addition to creating a strategy for growth in that country and in the rest of the continent to h compete with the platforms HBO Max and Disney+.
