Subway adds “boosters” to its “Vault” menu during the NFL draft

The NFL Draft, one of the most anticipated events in recent weeks. Capture the attention of millions of fans, who, for three days, can take a look at the future stars of the highest American football circuit in the country.

As a way to celebrate the entry of some of the new promises to the NFL, the American chain of fast food restaurants Subway has included in its Vault menu the names of some of the rookie footballers , with exclusive sandwich preparations in his honor.

On this occasion, there are three new types of sandwiches, and they are dedicated to Kayvon Thibodeaux, Garret Wilson and Jordan Davis. Specialties include oven-roasted turkey, Black Forest ham, bacon, Pepper Jack cheese, multigrain bread, and more.

The sandwich “Standout Sub”, dedicated to Davis, features steak and crispy bacon strips, topped with lettuce, tomato, green pepper, pickles and spicy Buffalo Sauce, served on artisan Italian bread.

“The Playmaker“. In honor of Thibodeaux, it features pan-roasted roast turkey slices with Black Forest ham, smoked bacon and Pepper Jack cheese, topped with onions, tomato, lettuce and jalapeños, tossed in Buffalo sauce, served on artisan Italian bread.

Finally, “Go Long Sub”, dedicated to Wilson, includes Black Forest Ham, Baked Roast Turkey , bacon and Pepper Jack cheese. Unlike the other specialties, this one includes two tablespoons of mashed avocado, topped with tomatoes, spinach, onion, pickles and chipote sauce on multigrain bread.

This is not the first time that Subway includes NFL athletes on its menu. On the occasion of the last Super Bowl LVI, it added specialties dedicated to Russel Wilson, Marshawn Lynch and Trevor Lawrence.
