The famous Italian designer Gianni Versace, who was murdered in 1997 outside his home in Miami, built a great empire in the country thanks to his talent for clothing and haute couture.
Among the properties that belonged to him is an emblematic mansion that he bought in 1995, in New York City, after paying $7,552,000 of dollars.
Despite his death, his family decided to keep the residence for several years, until 2005 that sold it for $30,000,000 of dollars.
Since then, the emblematic home has belonged to Thomas and Ximena Sandell, who recently decided to relaunch it on the market.
According to The Washington Post, which was the medium that released the news, the couple intends to sell the luxurious home for the stratospheric amount of $50,, of dollars.
The house, which is neoclassical style and extends over six floors, has an extension of 14,300 square feet and still retains Versace’s baroque finishes on four of its floors.
It has five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, a half bathroom, a hall, a kitchen, a dining room, a living room r, main room, television room, office, library, elevator, balcony, laundry room, patio, terrace, among other rooms.
On the fifth and sixth floors, a Moroccan-style movie theater and a game room with a pool table were installed.
In addition to attracting attention for its facilities and its history, the house also stands out for its location, being very close to Fifth Avenue.
Before being put up for sale, the house was rented in $100, monthly dollars.
