Oribe Peralta recalled his second stage with the Chivas de Guadalajara and he did not do it in the most positive way possible: the former player de El Tri pointed out that despite the fact that he was committed to 100% with the Sacred Flock, he did not receive opportunities to play.
Peralta was invited to the Zona TUDN program, and there he explained how he felt at Chivas de Guadalajara, his last team as a professional.
“I knew it was not going to be the same because of the rhythm of the competition, it was not the same age, but after I was always at 100 percent and with all the willingness to play and they didn’t let me play. That is the reality, I was always available and there was never an opportunity ”, expressed the “Hermoso”.
In the interview, Oribe also explained how he made the decision to go to Chivas to put an end to his career: his close circle supported him, the Sacred Flock offered him a longer contract and Peralta decided to “get a thorn out” that he had after an ephemeral stage with the rojiblancos at the beginning of his career.
In the two years he was with the Sacred Flock, the Olympic gold medalist could barely add two goals and three assists in 40 games. In addition, he was highly questioned by the red and white fans.
In January 2022, Oribe Peralta announced his retirement with an emotional video.
